It is a platform to share domain specific and interdisciplinary knowledge and tools used by the global community of practitioners involved in monitoring, collecting, maintaining, conserving, characterizing and using genetic resources for food, agriculture and forestry.

No. S2 (2024): Special Issue – Ex situ conservation of plant genetic resources in Europe: A journey through history, mission, challenges and future opportunities
This Genetic Resources special issue aims to provide an updated overview of ex situ conservation activities in Europe, including reports from genebanks describing their history, composition of the collections, key activities and future perspectives, and review and position papers on emerging topics aimed at enhancing the conservation and sustainable use of plant diversity in Europe.
